Color Managed Workflow

The Graphic Arts Technical Foundation is a member-supported, nonprofit, technical, and educational organization serving the international graphic communications industries.

The GATF/Apple ColorSync Registry is one way to demonstrate a company's mastery of color management. It assures customers that a company can competently handle color-managed files.

A company can qualify as a ColorSync Registered Firm at one of three levels - platinum (the highest level of achievement), gold, or silver. Each level represents different quality control tolerances.

To qualify, a firm undergoes a GATF ColorSync audit. The audit consists of on-site review of all documentation, prepress, and press operations.

Sells Printing is currently in the process of completing the audit to become platinum certified.
